Our final weeks with the Ember/Tank litter were a little chaotic and I switched to only updating on Facebook. We had a large forest fire force us to evacuate our home. The first night we packed up and stayed at my sister's apartment in Portland. I was worried about the possible effect of the bad air quality on the puppies developing lungs so the next morning we set off on an 11 hour road trip to stay with family in Utah. These pups took everything in stride and made lots of new friends!

When the air quality was better we made the long drive back home. It was an exciting final two weeks as we told each family which puppy they would be getting, and then said goodbye as they went off to their new homes. Miss Yellow stayed with us, and the others all went to amazing homes that were just perfect for them.
