This week we did more car rides in pairs. We introduced two new games with the clicker, "It's your Choice" and Susan Garrett's "Collar Grab" game. We also did a scent game where they found ground pork sprinkled on a towel (at this age learning food was on the ground and navigating the wrinkles in the towel was challenge enough). It was Ember's third birthday so they each got a pumpkin carrot cupcake which was a fun treat. They are loving exploring and had their first nighttime play time outside in the dark. It took all of us to keep track of them but they had a blast.

This past week we had slightly longer play periods. We started in groups of three, then two then had individual sessions exploring the yard and playing with Ember. The puppies also had their first car ride and all did really well. We continue with individual clicker sessions mostly doing a click and treat for choosing to interact with us instead of exploring. Of course each puppy gets personal cuddle and play time with at least one of us every day (usually multiple times a day). The inside pen is now half potty area and half play area. They are mostly relieving themselves in the potty area, the most common miss is when all 4 feet are on the pads or grass and their behind is off it, haha.
